Revision Policy

Thoughtful feedback is part of good product work. This policy keeps revision cycles clear, efficient and aligned with the approved scope.

Last updated October 8, 2026

01

Included revisions

The number and type of revision rounds included in a project are stated in its proposal or statement of work. A revision adjusts an agreed deliverable; it does not introduce a new feature, direction, platform or deliverable.

02

Submitting feedback

  • Send one consolidated set of feedback from the authorised decision-maker.
  • Reference the relevant screen, build, document or timestamp and describe the desired result.
  • Submit feedback within five business days of delivery unless the project agreement specifies another period.
  • Conflicting or fragmented feedback may be returned for consolidation before work continues.
03

What counts as a scope change

  • New pages, features, integrations, user flows or content not included in the approved scope.
  • A new creative direction after an earlier direction has been approved.
  • Rework caused by changed requirements, delayed materials or inaccurate information supplied by the client.
  • Requests made after included revision rounds have been used or final acceptance has occurred.
04

Additional revisions

We are happy to handle work beyond the included rounds. We will first provide a change estimate or apply the agreed hourly or daily rate. Additional work may require an updated delivery schedule.

05

Defects and warranty work

A reproducible failure to meet an approved requirement is treated as a defect, not a design revision. Eligible defects reported during the warranty period stated in the project agreement will be corrected without using an included revision round.

06

Approval and inactivity

A deliverable is considered approved when accepted in writing or when the review period in the project agreement ends without feedback. Extended client inactivity may pause the project, change the schedule and require capacity to be rebooked.
